WOW!! What Can you say about the June 9 post of @katiefreiling entitled 'Down the Rabbit Hole Part 1' I must say that i read some of the posts of some folks and think "now that's value."
Katie used the illustration of Neo in the movie The Matrix to show how so many of us are willing to just take the world that we live in at face value and not look deeper into the mechanics of what makes it tick to see the truth. What I find funny is that we are all looking for our own truth, that we all want a personal interpretation of truth. Well truth is not like that. Truth is absolute and what we see as our own truth is actually the same truth manifesting itself in different ways that are suited to our individual lives. Now I'm sure there are some who may disagree but let me present my case.
We all aspire to our idea of success, would you agree? If we look at all of the people who have succeeded at what they particularly aspired to we find that they all basically followed the same basic principles, we see this as we examine their lives (read Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich). The universe has laws that we must abide by if we break those laws we see that we will reap the consequence. The biggest most common thing that we must do is look outside of ourselves for our answer. What that means that I am not the ultimate source, so that can't be true. Well let's look, if we are the ultimate source of what is truth then why is truth so different for so many people. That leads me to believe that truth is outside of me. Also if I am the ultimate source why is my life not perfect? Maybe because I am not the ultimate source and real truth is not within me but is outside of me. The noted Author C.S Lewis in his book Mere Christianity spoke of what he called 'Social Morality' Lewis wrote that "THE FIRST THING to get clear about Christian morality between man and man is that in this department Christ did not come to preach any brand new morality. The Golden Rule of the New Testament do as you would be done by) is a summing up of what everyone, at bottom, had always known to be right. Really great moral teachers never do introduce new moralities: it is quacks who do that. As Dr. Johnson said, " People need to be reminded more often than they need to be instructed. The real job of every moral teacher is to keep on bringing us back, time after time, go the old simple principles which we are all so anxious not to see..." Folks truth is truth no matter how you slice it and it does not come from within us but we look into our spirit that is stirred by God's hand and rekindles those embers to find the truth that is Him.

Determining Who You Are
Be holy because I am Holy, that comes straight from God in 1 Peter 1.16. So many of us go out trying to find out who we are, and we spend years searching. Has anyone thought that they are looking in the wrong spot? If you are looking within yourself you are looking in the wrong place. if you are looking in acquisition of material gain you are looking in the wrong place. even looking in all of the self help books you will never find who you truly are. If you wan to find your true self look no further than Jesus Christ. " Behold if any man be in Christ he is a new creation..." Take your eyes off of you and this world, focus on Christ and live life and you will Be you. You won't need to find yourself because you will be you.

The Magic of Realization
As i sit here in my hotel room I consider the day. I am presently in Maryville, Tn. for my duty in the National Guard. Well some of the training that we through was suicide prevention. You we are preparing for our deployment and so we are under some stress as we are told to do some things that make no sense to us. Anyway the video that we watched was about suicide in the military and how as soldiers we are responsible for or fellow soldiers and that in line with our values we should have the courage to ask them how they are doing and what they feeling. we must as loyal friends we have an obligation to ask them if they are planning to hurt themselves.
By now you have got to be wondering; what does this have to do with success? Well as an army of individual soldiers we work together as a team. Now to us if one of the team can not carry out his duty then others must fill in to meet the deficiency, or potentially fail the mission. As individual business people we seek to meet our goals to help others. if we let one of them fail to meet their goals then we fail the ultimate mission. Sure we are here to make money to provide for our families but that is a by-product of our efforts to help others get what they need. only then do we realize the magic that is true accomplishment, what it is to truly be successful.
